Liaoning SG Automotive Group Co., Ltd. (listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, Stock code: 600303) is a trans-regional group company with more than half-century experience in manufacturing automobiles, drive axles and auto components. Currently, we have created our own brands-"Huanghai" and "SG", and formed 5 main series of products including Huanghai brand commercial vehicle, passenger vehicle, mini bus, special purpose vehicle as well as SG brand axles and axle parts.
As our main subsidiary, Huanghai Automobile boasts 63 years experience in manufacturing commercial vehicles and reaches a capacity of 130000 vehicles per year. It has been admittedly one of the most prominent manufacturers of large transit buses and pickup trucks in China. In addition, SG Axle has been recognized as the largest light duty axle supplier in domestic market, with an output of 1million vehicle axles a year.
SG has obtained the certificates of ISO-TS16949, ISO14001: 2004, OHSAS18001:1999 and GJB. After winning great reputation in domestic market, our Huanghai brand vehicles have been sold to over 30 countries and areas around the world including Middle East, Southeast Asia, South America, Africa, etc.
Huanghai Automobile - Commercial Vehicle
The company was founded in 1951 as the dedicated auto repair shop of the logistics department for the Chinese People's Volunteer Corps. Gradually, we expanded our business to include the automobile refitting and manufacturing. Till now, Huanghai has developed into a specialized automobile manufacturer, integrating development, manufacture and sales of buses, special purpose vehicles, chassis and components.
We have built two city bus production bases in China's Dandong and Changzhou cities which cover a total area of nearly 900,000 square meters and are welled equipped with 26 state of the art bus production lines including stamping line, frame line, body welding line, coating line, chassis assembly line, interior assembly line, complete vehicle testing line, etc. The production capacity of bus is up to 14,000 sets per year.
Huanghai Automobile - Passenger Car
Our main business areas of passenger cars involve SUV and pickup trucks. We are now one of the modern pickup and SUV manufacturers with the largest production scale and independent R&D ability in China. Our annual output of pickup and SUV is up to 80,000pcs.
Huanghai Automobile - Light Bus/Mini Bus
The branch company of Huanghai is located in Dalian city in China. It covers an area of 190,000m2, including more than 100,000m2 building areas, and mainly produces European style light buses and whole series special vehicles. Planned production capacity is 30,000sets/year. The new production base realizes fully automatic production that accounts for the top quality of Huanghai Raytour mini buses.
Huanghai Raytour minibus is our representative product after stepping into the light bus field. It is a high quality, high security and high reliability minivan developed by means of state of the art European design concept and product standard, and in virtue of superior supplier resources in the world and top level design team.
Huanghai Automobile - Special Purpose Vehicle
Huanghai special purpose vehicles are manufactured in our Dandong and Tieling production bases. They are commonly founded in airports, ports and civil markets, doing various applications. We offer a wide selection of special vehicles including dump truck, oil tank truck and various semi trailers. Due to superior quality, performance and competitive price, they have won great popularity among customers from the US, Australia, Canada, Kazakhstan, India, Iraq, Russia, North Korea and many other countries.
SG Axle
SG Axle holds 10 wholly owned subsidiaries and owns a national technology center. The sales amount of SG axles has ranked No. 1 in China's light duty axle markets for successive 15 years. In 2008, it was rated among the top 100 components suppliers in China, and was rated among the world top 10 suppliers of EATON Company.
SG Axle now owns four product lines including suspension systems for passenger car, light bus, SUV and pickup, light duty axles for off-road car, pickup, light/mini bus, and light truck, and medium and heavy duty axles for 6-13T buses, as well as all kinds of axle parts such as shells, driving and driven gears, steering knuckles, axle shaft, etc. More than 100 product kinds can totally meet the needs of various customers.
We have mastered the best in class technology and facilities for the production of various key axle parts including gears, axle shafts, sleeve pipes, and more. Cutting edge equipment from German KLINGELNBERG and American Gleason, KIMOS5 gear design software, AICHELIN heat treatment system and American online detection equipment account for the world leading level of our gear machining technology and product quality.
During China's 12th Five-Year Plan, SG invested 500 million RMB to build a research institute used for R&D of drive axles. Currently, the R&D center owns 51 sets of testing equipment including Austrian dynamometer, American MTS electro-hydraulic servo system, static torsion tester, impact tester, NVH testbed, etc. Among them, near 20 sets of equipment has reached the international advanced level.
